Come to Your Senses - 20/20 Vision and Sharing Light

I haven't blogged for some time.  In August I began teaching a lesson series I call "Coming to your Senses".  The series was set to use our senses to become more like Jesus.  Our first class on the series was establishing a vision.  Where do we want to be in the future.  What is your vision for the future?  Is your vision in line with Church; what about with your family?  The Bible says in "without vision the people perish".  I called the lesson - 20/20 vision.  God has a plan for all of us.  We are here for a reason.  We should always question why are we here?  We always need to keep our eyes open to see what God is trying to show us.  What lesson is God trying to teach us today.

The following week we focused on Detecting and Sharing Light. The lesson looked at the blind man that was healed by Jesus in John 4.  Jesus shared light with him.  Do we know anyone that is spirtually blind?  What can we do to share the light with those that are spiritually blind.  Do people see that we are different?  Light should stand out from the darkness.  A city set on a hill can not be hidden.  I need to think about those that I run into in my daily life that are spirtually blind and I can help them see the light.

These are some simple thoughts I had this evening.
